From culinary school and professional kitchens to a fast-paced career as a freelance food stylist and recipe developer in New York City, my time spent on the ground honing my skills made me an effective editorial leader at publications such as Southern Living, The Pioneer Woman, and Preppy Kitchen.

Throughout more than 16 years in food media, I’ve traveled the world in search of new ingredients, techniques, and inspiration. During an extended stay in Italy, I cooked at an Agriturismo in Calabria, harvested olives and grapes across four different regions, and studied the language. I went with a passion for pasta and came home obsessed with pizza. My weekends are now spent launching sourdough, Neapolitan-style pies into one of my three Ooni ovens, hosting pop-up events with my team at Naturally and my favorite, local wine bar, Golden Age.

Years of styling and developing for a diverse set of clients developed my ability to strategize content plans and grow audiences. With an undergraduate background in business, my mind is as analytical as it is artistic—I enjoy the creative process as much as I value the data that helps guide my work.

As a team member and leader, I prioritize respect and honor the unique contributions of each individual. Within my local community, I co-lead the Birmingham Bakers organization, coordinating quarterly bake sales to benefit social justice initiatives. In recent years, I’ve settled into the rhythm of life in Birmingham, AL, though I will always consider NYC a home.

I am currently taking on freelance clients for writing, styling, developing, and testing recipes. Please reach out—I’d love to connect!
